Katsura gets upset when a police car drives by, so he asks Ikumatsu to teach him the "Way of Ramen".īefore Ikumatsu can say anything, three weird guys enter the shop and ask Ikumatsu for some money. She believed he was the "Panties Thief" and still suspects him a bit. Next, she takes him at her Ramen Shop and treats him to some ramen, as an apology for hitting him, even though Katsura says he prefers soba. Katsura tries to play it off by saying he is Santa Claus, however Ikumatsu knocks him out by throwing her laundry at his face. As he is trying to walk, he accidentally grabs a bra and at that moment its owner, Ikumatsu, spots him as she finished her laundry. The Shinsengumi pursue him and he has to climb at the rooftops to escape.
Katsura escapes the explosion at the last moment, but he is injured at his leg and blood comes out leaving traces wherever he passes. Sougo, being one of the officers in the roadblock, grabs his bazooka and fires at Katsura. As the Shinsegumi stop a bicycle rider to check him, they find out that it is Katsura. On November 8, 2019, Hulu add the the English dub of Episode one part 1 of Gintama, before the full dub got release on December 1, 2019, part 2 was not added at that time, The first episode part 1 of the Gintama dub was on Hulu for few days before it was remove on November 15, 2019. 12 additional episodes were added weekly. Crunchyroll began streaming the English dub of the first 12 episodes of the series on February 1, 2017. Due to Sentai still owning the rights to the first two series, Crunchyroll chose to dub the most recent series, Gintama°, which consists of Episodes 266 to 316. On July 1, 2016, Crunchyroll announced that they would be releasing the series on Blu-ray and DVD with an English dub. The Movie's release performed well, and Sentai Filmworks announced that based on the film's performance, they would consider releasing more of the series in North America, possibly with an English dub.
Gintama season 2 movie#
Sentai's release was subtitle-only, with Gintama: The Movie being the only part of the series which they dubbed. Sentai also had the second season licensed, but the releases stalled before finishing.
The first two seasons of the Gintama series were initially licensed by Sentai Filmworks, which released the first season across 4 volumes from Apto February 22, 2011.
